Spanning a chasm some eighty feet deep and set in an exceptional landscape is the unique remnant of a local industry. Carrick a Rede rope bridge was originally one of several seasonal salmon fisheries located around the north coast, others were at Kinbane, Portmoon, Black Rock and Torr Head. Today it is an exhilarating experience with exceptional views for hundreds of thousands of visitors.
